Friendly, Independent small animal practice with three modern branches in the heart of Northumberland are looking for a confident small animal vet to join the progressive team. Loyal client base, and a reputation for clinical excellence. Progressive team of 8 vets (including certificate holders in medicine, ophthalmology and dentistry) and RVNs working collaboratively in a supportive, open culture where everyone’s skills are valued. Great work-life balance: 4-day week, 1 night per week (until 10pm), 1 in 5 weekends (7am–10pm), plus 1 in 5 Saturday mornings. Supportive team and mentoring for all experience levels. The ideal candidate will be caring, enthusiastic, and confident with a varied caseload. Keen to learn, happy to share knowledge, and comfortable communicating with clients. Recent graduates and experienced vets welcome – a minimum of 1-2 years small animal experience with some surgical experience. Modern facilities: laparoscopy, digital dental X-ray, full lab, visiting ultrasound and endoscopy specialist. Well located for outdoor lovers with easy access to Newcastle.
