REGISTERED VETERINARY NURSE – OXFORD
Independent Small Animal Referral Centre

VetPro Recruitment are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established, family-run independent referral centre specialising in orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery in Oxford.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your nursing skills within a modern, well-equipped specialist environment, working alongside a welcoming and supportive team of RVNs and Patient Care Assistants.
THE ROLE
The position offers a varied and rewarding caseload, with responsibilities including:
Anaesthesia and surgical nursing
Assisting with specialist procedures as a scrub nurse
Inpatient and post-operative care
Nurse appointments, admissions and discharges
Supporting referral bookings and clinical administration
The practice boasts excellent facilities, including two operating theatres, a CT scanner, digital X-ray, an in-house laboratory and separate dog and cat wards.
WORKING HOURS
Full-time position of 40 hours per week, with part-time applications also considered.
No weekend working
No routine OOH shifts
Rotational night shifts caring for surgical inpatients

Previous anaesthesia experience would be advantageous, particularly with emergency and critical care patients. However, full training and support are available for nurses looking to develop their skills.
