Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Exotic or Ophthalmology bias welcomed – RCVS accredited hospital - Essex – ER3479.45530

An experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon is required to join a busy and forward-thinking RCVS accredited hospital in Essex. You will be working alongside a friendly and experienced team of 14 vets that includes certificate holders in surgery, medicine and exotics. Applicants with a bias in exotics or ophthalmology would benefit the team but not essential. Key is an experienced all-round veterinary surgeon who thrives in a vibrant, forward-thinking environment. The practice boasts state of the art equipment including CT scanner, ultrasound and endoscope as well as MRI and rehabilitation services in house. The role will be full time, 40 hours over 4 days per week with weekends on a 1 in 4 rota. No OOH (due to the inhouse dedicated night team). A minimal second on call rota that equates to around 3-4 times per year. Part time hours also considered. You should be passionate about providing excellent patient care and pride yourself on building strong relationships with clients. Professional development is actively encouraged.
