An excellent opportunity has arisen for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a well established, independent practice in Wiltshire. This is a well equipped first opinion practice with 3 sites all of which have a high nurse to vet ratio. Suitable candidates should have over 3 years post graduate experience with good medical and surgical skills along with excellent communication. Applicants with an area of specialism are welcome to apply, an interest in surgery would be ideal but not essential. You will join an experienced team on a permanent, full time basis working 4 days per week (08:45 – 18:30). Saturdays are on a 1 in 5 rota working 09:00 – 12:00. Additional 1 in 5 rota for hospitalised patient care. Cases are worked up to a high standard with very few cases referred elsewhere. On offer in a competitive salary with CPD allowance, further studies encouraged and much more. The practice is well located with good access to Bath, Bristol and London. Heathrow and Bristol airports are within easy reach with good schools in the local area for young families.
