Equine Veterinary Surgeon (optional SA work) – Independent practice – North Yorkshire – ER3686

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an equine focussed Veterinary Surgeon to join a well established independent practice in North Yorkshire. The practice also treats small animals and there is the option for this to be part of your caseload if desired. Permanent, full time position working 4 days per week (typically). 1 in 4 or 5 weekend out of hours rota. Part time hours considered. Very well equipped practice where cases are worked up to a high standard. Facilities include stocks, trot-up lane, lunge ring, stabling, radiography box, dental kit, ultrasound, DR x-ray, endoscope and much more. There is the opportunity for you to shape direction, with areas of interest supported and encouraged, partnership potential for the right person in the future. The role is ideally suited to a vet with 2+ years of experience. If you wish to incorporate small animal work, you will be supported with surgery if needed and will work alongside certificate holders in medicine.
