Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Surgeon – Daytime and Twilight shifts - South Wales – ER2549

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Surgeon to join a state-of-the-art hospital in South Wales. The role is suited to a vet with a passion for emergency and critical care as you will be treating first opinion emergencies and inpatient care. This is a permanent role working 4 on, 4 off rota. This compromises of 4 day shifts, 4 days off, 4 twilight shifts, 4 days off equating to approximately 31.5 hours per week. No on-call or sole-charge work but you will be expected to work up emergency cases to a high standard therefore previous experience in an emergency role is required. Very well equipped hospital with CT scanner, dedicated orthopaedic, soft tissue and exotic theatres and more. Multi site practice with branches across South Wales. The hospital site is a busy referral and emergency centre, covering the out-of-hours provision for all the practice’s branches alongside 40 local practices. As the emergency service expands, the practice is accepting inpatient transfers and emergency cases throughout the day. Experience in emergency care is essential.
