Award-winning independent small animal practice are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the friendly team in County Durham, following one of the vets moving into referral work. Excellent case continuity and support from an experienced team with clinical freedom. This is a full-time role would suit a vet with at least 1 year of UK experience looking to develop clinical and surgical skills. Surgical certificate holder on-site, offering support with advanced soft tissue and laparoscopic surgery, alongside funded certificates and CPD. The role is 4 days a week with 1:3 Saturday mornings (consults only) with time off in lieu with no OOH, on-call or bank holidays. Well-equipped practice offers digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, in-house Idexx lab suite, separate dog and cat wards, 4 consult rooms and 2 theatres.
