VetPro Recruitment are seeking an experienced Locum Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, independent practice in Northampton for ongoing maternity cover from early January 2027.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established 5 FTE veterinary team within a practice that places great emphasis on delivering exceptional client care and building strong client relationships.
THE ROLE
The successful candidate will join a supportive veterinary team, providing high-quality first opinion small animal care.
WORKING PATTERN
• Approximately 40 hours per week over 4–5 days
• 37 weekday hours plus 1 in 4 weekends
• Variable days off depending on the rota
• Rota planned 3 months in advance
• No OOH or on-call commitments
PRACTICE OPENING HOURS
• Monday–Friday: 8am–7pm
• Saturday: 9am–3pm
• Sunday: 10am–3pm
Accommodation can be arranged nearby if required.
