Veterinary Nurse Team Leader - Liverpool

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Nurse Team Leader to join a busy Charity Small Animal Hospital in Liverpool. This is a full time position, 37.5 hours per week ideally working 5 days per week however 4 days could be considered. Shifts vary between 8 -5.30pm/ 10-6.30pn and occasionally 9-5.30pm. Duties across these days typically include a day for admin/team leader tasks, working in the dispensary, theatre, kennels and nurse consults. There is also a weekend day shift rota which is on a 1 in 5 basis working both a Saturday and Sunday. .
The role would suit an experienced RVN with a proven track record for showing strong clinical performance in their career so far; someone who is a team player and enjoys coaching others and able to give support, guidance and feedback; confident working in a fast paced environment; has a passion for supporting people and pets in the local community. As well as nursing duties you will be supporting the HN as part of the lead nursing team and helping to oversea a team of RVN’s and Vet Care Assistants.
