Senior Surgical Veterinary Surgeon – RCVS Hospital – West Yorkshire – ER2424

An RCVS accredited, exceptionally well equipped hospital in West Yorkshire is looking for a Senior Surgical Veterinary Surgeon to join a highly skilled team of 18 Vets, including many certificate holders, handling a varied and advanced surgical caseload. You will work alongside the Surgical Director performing advanced and more routine surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have or be willing to undertake a PgC in surgery and have some orthopaedic experience. You will have the ability to perform both routine and advanced surgical procedures, carry out first class medical/surgical care and mentor junior colleagues. Proven veterinary experience required, with confidence taking surgical referrals, along with good communication skills. The role is based primarily at the purpose-built, RCVS-accredited hospital with one operating day at a branch surgery. This is a permanent full or part time position with 1:4 weekends on a rota but no routine OOH commitments. Fixed day off per week for full time applicants.
