Mixed Animal Vet -Independent Practice - Northumberland HF6049

Well Established Independent Mixed Vet Practice in Northumberland are seeking a confident vet to join a friendly team. The team consists of a supportive 6 vet team with excellent nursing and support staff, offering genuine clinical freedom, continuity of care and a collaborative working environment. The caseload is predominantly small animal, with some seasonal farm and OOH work. The head vet undertakes most farm duties, although more farm animal work can be available if desired. A special interest is very welcome and actively encouraged, particularly in dentistry, with a dedicated dental suite and dental X-ray facilities available. The rota consists of five 4-day weeks, and one 5-day week within a 6-week cycle with just 1:6 weekends including Saturday consults (9am–12.30pm) with a long 4-day weekend after weekend worked. Consults are 20 minutes with last appointments at 6pm - part-time applications are also welcome. Facilities include digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory and a dedicated dental suite with dental radiography.
