Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – RCVS Hospital - Bedfordshire - ER373

VetPro Recruitment are seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent RCVS hospital in Bedfordshire. This is a permanent, full time position working a 4-day week with a fixed day off and just one Saturday shift (8-4.30) each month. OOH are kept in-house working one weeknight every two weeks and one weekend on-call every two months. The practice sees a busy caseload so suited to a vet used to work in a fast-paced environment. There are excellent facilities including laparoscopic and orthopaedic kits. You will join a team of 12 Vets that include advanced practitioners and certificate holders. Vet Nurse Training Practice. The role is ideally suited to an experienced vet, ideally with a surgical bias, who is confident managing emergencies surgeries, such as GDVs. Shifts will include consulting, operating, and a late shift, with a support shift every two weeks. The practice is a training centre for veterinary students and the practice is happy to support a PGCert in Veterinary Education for those interested in teaching.
