Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Maternity Cover - Cornwall – ER2565

A large, 5 site (3 small animal and 2 farm), RCVS accredited practice, in Cornwall is on the lookout for an experienced and confident Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join the small animal team on a fixed term 12 month maternity cover basis starting in April 2026. This is a full time position working 4.5 days per week which must include a Friday with Saturdays on a shared rota. Occasional OOH in-patient care. The successful candidate will be joining a welcoming and sociable team of 9 Vets (including certificate holders) with fantastic backup form Nurses and reception staff. Medical and surgical cases are worked up to a high standard and the practice has a good relationship with nearby referral centre. The ideal candidate will be confident, have great communication skills, be enthusiastic team players and up for a challenge!
