Independent Accredited Supportive, Forward Thinking practice in North Staffordshire are looking to grow with the launch of a brand new Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre this Autumn. Looking for a 5th vet to join the friendly team – the ideal candidate will be confident with routine surgery and keen to develop skills further, with support always available. A mix of consults and surgery with a varied caseload to support your interests. The role will involve 4 days a week, with 1 in 4 Saturdays mornings on rota, urgent cases only. The OOH is shared until the hospital night team is in place - currently very light, with most calls advice only and on call from home. The vets have interests spanning internal medicine, ECC, cardiology, and soft tissue surgery, with visiting orthopaedic surgeons for more complex cases. Supported by a fantastic nursing team, led by an RVN with feline nursing certificate, and three other RVNs. New graduates thrive at the practice thanks to a strong mentoring and a collaborative culture.
