Registered Veterinary Nurse – Maternity Cover - Greater Manchester HF3203

Looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a talented team of veterinary professionals in at the Pets A&E Hospital in Greater Manchester. Modern facilities and equipment, including digital x-ray, ultrasound and endoscopy tools, incubators, infusion pumps and intensive care units; delivering 24/7 care. Full-time RVN to work 7 days on and 7 off. Working 9Hr shifts Monday – Sunday from 1pm to 10pm. This is a temporary role which is required to provide cover for the maternity leave of the current job holder.
Looking for confident RVN with a well-developed skillset, including but not limited to:

• Pre / post-surgery patient care
• Venepuncture and IV catheter placement
• Diagnostic imaging preparation and processing
• Medication dispensing and administering

Candidates skills set will include excellent communication, compassion, empathy, the ability to inspire, organisation, positivity, reliability, supportiveness, and being a team player. Centrally based in the busy market town close to Manchester with excellent amenities, and with excellent transport links to Liverpool, Leeds and further. Manchester airport is within an hour’s drive.
