Orthopaedic Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon required – South Wales – ER3065

VetPro Recruitment are seeking a surgically biased Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for orthopaedics to join a RCVS accredited practice in South Wales. Ideally you will have experience performing TPLO/CCWO/TTA and fracture fixation, as well as having soft tissue surgical and general practice skills. You will have support from a visiting RCVS advanced practitioner in surgery, endoscopy and endosurgery available to assist/support if needed. This is a permanent, full time role working 4 days per week, Saturdays are on a 1 in 5 rota with inpatient on-call rota 1 in 6 (Mon-Fri only). Part time hours also considered and flexible working patterns also open to discussion. Appointments run from 08:45 – 18:15 and appointments run to 15 minutes. The practice has 4 sites across South Wales and would also benefit from the vet being willing to do routine procedures / consults alongside performing advanced surgeries. The practice is in located near the Brecon Beacons National Park, with great transport links and easy access to Bristol and Cardiff in 45 minutes and 2.5 hours to London.
