Mixed or Large Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Cumbria – HF3658

VetPro Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic mixed or large animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a team in Cumbria. You will work 40 hours per week across 4/5 days, with 1 in 4 weekends working on-call at home from 7 pm on Friday and in surgery from 8:30 am – 1 pm on Saturday, then on-call supported by a nurse for the remainder of the weekend. The role also includes 1 night per week on call from 6/7 pm. You will be joining an experienced team made up of 8 Vets, supported by 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, 3 Animal Care Assistants and a Practice Manager, Farm Services Manager, and a team of 6 highly skilled Receptionists. CPD and professional development are encouraged in all disciplines, and this practice is also a nurse training practice. This role can be tailored to suit a new graduate or a more experienced Veterinary Surgeon.
