Exciting opportunity for a Senior Registered Vet Nurse to join an established yet growing first opinion small animal practice just outside of Newcastle city centre.  Joining a friendly and supportive team of thirteen people. Looking for a Senior RVN who as well as having good all-round nursing skills, can provide excellent levels of patient and client care and is willing to take full ownership of tasks and duties. You will work closely with senior members of the practice demonstrating leadership and management qualities. Ideally the successful candidate will have experience of clinical coaching but this is not necessary as training can be provided. This can be a full or part-time role.  The practice understands the importance of work-life balance and general wellbeing and are completely open to discussions, particularly around flexibility with working patterns. The opening hours are Monday-Friday 8.30-7 and Saturday 9-12. Saturday work will be required on a rota basis with on OOH and no Sundays.The caseloads are varied, and your role will be a balance of clinics and surgery, giving you the chance to utilise your personal areas of special interest. The practice is within walking distance to main bus and metro links and with convenient access to the A19 and A1 and have plenty of on-site parking. The spacious practice is well equipped with on-site theatre, digital xray, ultrasound machine, dental xray, in-house laboratory, pharmacy, separate dog and cat wards, four consult rooms and a large, dedicated colleague room.
