Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon (Medicine bias) – RCVS hospital – West Yorkshire – ER2960

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon with a medical bias to join a small animal RCVS accredited hospital in West Yorkshire. Tier 3 RCVS accredited hospital with branch surgeries. This role is suited to an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to lead the medicine side of the hospital therefore a medicine certificate is desired. Leadership skills are required as you will be supporting more junior members of the team. There is opportunity for this role to progress into a clinical director. This is a permanent position working 4 or 5 days per week with varying shifts (08:00 – 19:00, 09:00 – 19:00 or 08:00 – 17:00). Weekends are on a 1 in 6 rota. No out of hours or on call required due to dedicated night team. Well equipped practice with separate soft tissue and orthopaedic theatres, dental X-rays, ultrasound and endoscopy room and more.
