Mixed New Graduate Vet – 4 days a week – Tyne & Wear HF1817

Independent practice, Well Established RCVS Accredited Mixed Animal Practice are seeking a new graduate mixed animal veterinary surgeon to join the amazing team in Tyne & Wear. Offering a supportive, encouraging work environment and pride ourselves on top quality, modern medicine and surgery. The role is 85% small, 10% equine, 5% farm mix or small animal only. The role can be 4 or 5 days a week with one night on call per week (with support by another vet). Afternoon off following a weeknight on call (1st on call vet Monday to Thursday). 1 full weekend on call in every 6 (for every full weekend worked, no night on call the following week and a Friday or Monday off to make a long weekend) 1 Saturday morning in 3 (one of these will be part of the full weekend on call every 6), bank holiday cover shared equally. No sole charge on call work – part of the Veterinary Graduate Development Programme. The chance to go to Spain to volunteer at a neuter clinic (subject to availability). Regular salary reviews and Visa sponsorship and funding can provided. UK driving license essential for role – accommodation and company car provided.
