Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – South East Wales – ER3140

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a practice in the South East of Wales. This is a permanent, full, or part-time position. Typically, the full-time position is 40 per week, working between the hours of 8:30am and 7pm, four days a week. Weekends are shared between 6 veterinary surgeons leaving you to share a 1 in 3 rota. OOH handled by a dedicated team 10 minutes’ drive away. The vets currently work across the main surgery and branches on a shared rota, with a mix of consulting, surgical and inpatient work. The practice has its own laboratory for in house use, DR X-ray machine with SignalPet Use, Dental x-ray and separate Dental theatre along with the prep rooms and main Theatre, Ultrasound machine, endoscopy, and Walk in Kennels. You will be joining a wonderful team made up of 6 veterinary surgeons, 10 nurses and 9 receptionists and practice manager. Silver level cat friendly status from the ISFM and RCVS PSS General Practice accreditation in the main site. Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with the confidence of sole charge would be beneficial but not essential. CPD allowance. Paid memberships. Competitive salary dependent on experience.
