Registered Veterinary Nurse – Surgical Department – Northamptonshire – ER1763

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a highly skilled and supportive team in Northamptonshire. This role involves working within the surgical referral team, collaborating closely with the first opinion and medical referral teams. This role ideally requires full-time commitment, spanning 40 hours weekly across 5 days, with shifts scheduled between 7:30 am to 7:00 pm and 1 in 8 Saturday mornings. There is no out of hours or bank holidays. Part-time applicants are welcome to apply. The dynamic role encompasses a wide array of responsibilities, including theatre work, anaesthesia, X-ray/CT imaging, assisting surgery e.g., hip replacement, nurse consultations, inpatient care, emergency response, and critical care nursing. You will be based in a well-equipped, modern Referral Hospital with fantastic facilities, in-house laboratory with dedicated lab technician, CT, MRI, and a dedicated medical service to support the surgical department. The hospital has an interesting and busy caseload. Great CPD budget, in-house progression plan and support with post-graduate studies. Paid memberships. Competitive salary dependent on experience.
