Locum Official Veterinarian Scotland

VetPro Recruitment have an urgent requirement working for Food Standards Scotland. They Require 2 Official Veterinarians.

Role one is based in Eastriggs, Annan, Scotland. This role is 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday), occasional Fridays by arrangement. The hours will be 5.30am to 1pm.

Role two is based in Lockerbie, Scotland. This role is 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday), occasional Fridays by arrangement. The hours will be 7.45am – 13.15am.

In addition to the duties as an Official Veterinarian (OV) at each location, Lockerbie operates as an OV only premises due to low volume and low complexity slaughter operation, and requires the OV be able to perform the duties of a Meat Hygiene Inspector (MHI) in tandem with the OV role.
Both roles to start on the 22nd April 2024 (or as close to this as possible) and the end date is the 22nd December 2024.
