Looking for an ambitious Vet Nurse who would like to progress in their career and become a Head Veterinary Nurse. RCVS Accredited, very friendly, mixed practice in the lovely coastal town in Renfrewshire. There is a great support network from the team of vets, nurses and receptionists. The candidate will have good communication skills and relationship management skills essential.Clinical coach would be an advantage however, full training will be given.The role will include managing all aspects of the nursing team to ensure excellent teamwork and the highest level of clinical care. Your responsibilities will also include but not limited to:

• Manage the Nursing Team and ACAs
• Overseeing stocking levels and ordering
• Organise training to ensure a high level of nursing care.
• Monitor staff performance & coordinate PDRs
• Update all current veterinary legislation.
• Clinical coaching.
• Equipment maintenance.
The role will involve 1 in 4 weekends with no OOH. Excellent facilities including laparoscopy equipment to perform lap speys, multi parameter monitors, fully equipped lab with the latest haematology, biochemistry, electrolyte and therapeutic monitoring, ultrasound scanner, digital radiography, including dental x-ray machine, endoscope and the latest dental machine, instruments and equipment.
