Mixed Registered Veterinary Nurse – Nottinghamshire – HF1830

A mixed animal practice in Nottinghamshire is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. The caseload is Primarily SA work (90%), but there’s the opportunity to get involved with some LA work and potential for more in the future if someone has an interest. This position allows for the opportunity to carry out Schedule 3 procedures if applicable, or for development to be able to do so in the future. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position with weekend and out of hours work. However, the practice is happy to offer part-time to the right candidate, who can commit to the out of hours rota. Night shift hours are 6:00pm-8:00am. Saturday mornings are 2 in 6 (8.00am-12:00pm Saturday). Out of hours weekends are 1 in 6 (8:00am Saturday – 8:00am Monday). Days off are given in return for Saturday mornings worked the following week. Across the group and the 4 practices there are 40 members of staff including 16 Veterinary Surgeons with 1 being a certificate holder, 15 Registered/Student Veterinary Nurses and Animal Care Assistants, with experience ranging from new graduates to 35 years, and a fantastic team of Support Staff.
