Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Surrey – HF2033

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a welcoming team at an RCVS Accredited Hospital in Surrey. Responsibilities will include client consultations, surgery, and other clinical duties to keep your day varied. This role would suit a confident Veterinary Surgeon who may have had experience of sole charge although this is not essential. This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours between 8am-8pm over 4 or 5 days a week depending on your preference. There will be 1 in 4 Saturday morning shifts and no OOH offering excellent work / life balance. The practice has an extensive range of up-to-date equipment including digital x-ray processor, in-house laboratory, dental scaler, polisher drill and digital dental x-ray machine, state of the art ultrasound machine, bronchoscopes, and video endoscope. You will be joining a friendly team made up of 5 Veterinary Surgeons and 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses including students and nursing support. The ideal candidate will be a confident candidate who enjoys a mix of surgery and consulting and enjoys being part of a supportive team. Some sole charge experience may be of benefit, but it is not essential. This role may also suit someone with a surgery/medicine certificate given the facilities the practice has.
