Motivated and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to fill a clinical management role at a busy RCVS Accredited Hospital in Buckinghamshire. Looking for a confident and capable general practitioner with adequate experience to be able to support and mentor junior members of the team and contribute to the daily management of the practice whilst maintaining an active clinical role. There is the central hospital with 5 branches – 16 Day Vets, 3 Night Vets, 20 Day Nurses, 3 Night Nurses, 3 Kennel Assistants, 2 Lab Techs. The ideal candidate would step seamlessly into the role of Co-Clinical Director alongside the current CD.Candidates without CD experienced will be considered if they have adequate management credentials.Candidates with less experience would be encouraged to apply as a Senior Veterinary Surgeon, with a view to expand and consolidate their leadership capability with the possibility of advancement in due time. The role will involve 40 hours/4 days a week with no OOH, dedicated on site night team with a 1 in 6 weekend rota (day only) with time back in lieu. Experienced Veterinary Surgeons with interests and advanced qualifications in ECC, Ophthalmology, Surgery, Exotics, and Imaging. Well equipped hospital with separate cat, dog, exotic and isolation wards. Digital X-Ray, Ultrasound and endoscopy with plans for CT scanner expansion. Laparoscopic surgical techniques such “key-hole” bitch spays. Located in the foot of the Chiltern Hills with direct train links to London, the location offers something for everyone.
