Veterinary Surgeon – Derbyshire – HF1133

VetPro Recruitment are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a fantastic mixed animal practice in Derbyshire. You will carry out a mix of consulting and surgery focusing on client care. The position is split across two sites, the main surgery and partnering Branch. However, the practice is flexible on this and will work with all candidates to build a rota and location suitable to you and your lifestyle. Some sole charge so you must be comfortable with this. You will be responsible for your caseload and with experience, help to mentor Graduate Vets. This is a permanent, full, or part-time role where the practice can accommodate from one day a week, up to 40 hours per week. The rota will fall between the hours of 8:30am – 6:30pm and include a share of 1 in 4 Saturdays (9am-1pm). You will be joining a supportive team made up of 8 small animal Vets, 6 farm Vets, plus another 8 Vets at the neighbouring branch, and 11 Nurses. The practice is looking for a confident and experienced vet capable of sole charge when needed, or a vet looking to take the next step in their career. Someone who has an interest in mentoring younger graduates would be desirable.
