Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Cheshire – HF3067

VetPro Recruitment are seeking a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a team in Cheshire. You will see a varied caseload and day-to-day you will be involved in a mix of consults and operations. You will also have a dedicated ops morning each week, with the potential to do more of this if surgery is an area of interest. A full-time vet usually works a variety of shifts between 8:30 am – 6:30 pm, with an hour for lunch. There is a requirement to work 2 in 5 Saturday mornings, but no out-of-hours or bank holidays. This branch is well-equipped with 5 consult rooms, a dedicated pharmacy, digital x-ray, ultrasound, cautery and a full idexx suite. You will be joining a friendly team made up of 6 vets, that are very supportive and love to discuss cases and help each other out, 6 qualified nurses have a wealth of experience, they work alongside 1 student nurse, 2 animal care assistants, 2 full-time receptionists, 1 practice manager and 1 insurance clerk. The practice is looking for a vet who will fit into their well-established and friendly team. Ideally, you will be a friendly team player, with good communication skills. MRCVS, all levels of experience would be considered. Paid memberships. CPD allowance. Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
