Equine Veterinary Surgeon – Aberdeenshire – HF2888

VetPro Recruitment are currently seeking a proactive Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly team in Aberdeenshire. The role can be full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time to suit the right candidate. The workload is a mixture of leisure horses, high-level competition horses and everything in between. Day-to-day duties would include but are not limited to providing high-quality care to the patients on yards and at the practice premises. You will be required to work a share of the 1 in 7 OOH rota, with a half day after a weeknight and a Friday off after a weekend on-call. You will be joining a wonderful team made up of 7 equine vets, 3 equine nursing assistants and 4 office staff who have regular team meetings, as well as lots of social events outside of work. The team benefit from visiting Dentistry Specialists and Orthopaedic Surgeons on a regular basis. This practice has purpose-built premises including 7 stables, trot ups, a sand school, a treatment room, stocks, a knockdown box, and a theatre. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. The team would be delighted to welcome someone with a specific field of interest or an interest in gaining a certificate.
