VetPro Recruitment are currently seeking an enthusiastic small animal Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a wonderful team at a practice in South Glamorgan. You will be joining a busy 2 branch PSS accredited practice, that is looking for a forward-thinking Nurse to expand the team. This is a full-time, permanent position working 35-40 hours a week, Monday – Friday. Plus, a 1 in 9 share of the Saturday morning rota and no OOH required as this is provided by the neighbouring hospital. The role involves a variety of duties, including monitoring of anaesthetics, performing radiographs, taking blood pressures, cytology, inpatient care, and keeping PSS standards. You will join a wonderful team of 8.5 FTE vets, 2 recent graduate vets, 11 FTE nurses, 3 student nurses, 4 nursing assistants and reception team. You will also be required to work between the two sites that are just over two miles apart. The practice is well-equipped practice including in-house lab, ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, anaesthetic monitoring equipment, therapeutic laser, and much more! CPD allowance.
