Exciting opportunity for an ambitious RVN to join a small, friendly team as a Deputy Head Nurse at a small animal practice in a market town in Gloucestershire. Joining an existing team of 4 vets and 3 Nurses (including brilliant students) as well as a fantastic client care team. The role is full time including a 4-day week (finishing at 3:30pm one day so it’s nearly just 3.5 days) and just 1 in 4 Saturdays with no OOH or overnight patient checks. Looking for a forward thinking and enthusiastic RVN with good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, with a genuine interest in animal welfare. Ideally you will be a clinical coach already or have the willingness to become one. Well thought out working environment and the practice is therefore lovely and sunny up on a mezzanine, with external windows. Fully equipped with digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, blood pressure monitoring, scenography, in-house lab, advanced airway management systems for rabbits and cats, plus separate wards for dogs, cats and exotics.
