SA Veterinary Surgeon – Cheshire – HF3695

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a wonderful team at a practice in Cheshire. Your week is spread across days on consults (seeing a mix of reviews and on-day sick pets, as well as routine vaccines/6-month checks), and a day in theatre (sometimes two, depending on rota requirements). Having some experience in these duties is important. Permanent part-time, or full-time considered for the right candidate, and/or 3-month locum cover required May-July 2023. 20-30 hours over 2-3 weekdays (Monday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday), and with shared weekend rota shifts and no OOH. You will be joining a team of 5 vets, Supported by 5 fantastic nurses, 3 students, as well as 6 receptionists, and 1 practice manager. Two of the vets are studying towards certificates (cardiology and ophthalmology), and this is actively encouraged and supported. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Vet who is competent in routine appointments and has excellent interpersonal skills, as well as enjoying interacting with clients. Professional memberships paid. CPD encouraged. Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
