Registered Veterinary Nurse – West Midlands – HF2555

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a small animal Registered Veterinary Nurse to join an experienced team at a practice in the West Midlands. This is a permanent, full-time position where hours can be discussed to suit the right candidate. The successful candidate will work between the main hospital and some of the smaller branches. The nurses are encouraged to be fully involved in all aspects of nursing and to use their skills to the fullest. They will move between theatre, inpatients, lab and occasionally, nurse consultations. As well as, working alongside qualified vets and nurses with a wide range of knowledge, interests, and further qualifications. The vets have a variety of interests and hold certificates in medicine, surgery, cardiology, imaging, and exotic patients. Some of the nurses hold certificates in exotics and zoo medicine, feline nursing and ECC too. The practice offers on-site CT scanner, MRI, ultrasounds, dental x-rays, endoscopy, K-laser, and laboratory. The ideal applicant must be competent in all aspects of the nursing role including, but not restricted to, theatre, inpatient care, nurse consults and laboratory duties. RCVS Membership paid.
