SA Veterinary Surgeon – Fixed-Term Contract – West Midlands – HF3342

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a wonderful team at a practice in West Midlands. The role will involve both first opinion consulting and surgery, with some sole charge work during the week and on Saturdays alongside a receptionist and 2 registered veterinary nurses. This is a fixed-term, full-time role position, which will run for approximately 12 months, with the potential to become permanent. The rota involves working 4 days per week between the hours of 8:30 am to 6:30 pm from Monday to Friday, with Wednesdays off, and every other Saturday from 8:30 am until 2 pm. The practice is well-equipped with ultrasound, digital X-ray, endoscope, bronchoscope and full in house Idexx lab machines. The surgery will be purchasing a dental X-ray machine this year and have lots of other plans and ideas for the future. The team are friendly and motivated, and the practice strongly encourage CPD and self-development. The ideal candidate will match the team values, have a strong work ethic, and has the ability to provide excellent patient and client care. You must be confident with sole charge, enjoy consulting and be a capable surgeon. BVA membership. VDS cover. CPD allowance. Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
