VetPro Recruitment are currently seeking an enthusiastic small animal Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a fantastic opportunity in West Lothian. The nursing team are fully utilised to their potential; offering a varied and challenging role which will include prep/theatre patient involvement (e.g., IV placement in all patients, blood taking, laboratory work, radiography, dentistry, and surgery assist). The practice also has a designated ward rotation for improved in-patient care and routine consultation RVN clinics. This is a full or part-time role ideally working 37.5 hours per week (3-5 days a week). As well as, 1 in 5 weeknights inpatient care only shared with a Vet and 1 in 5 Saturdays (8:30am-1:00pm). No OOH as this is covered by a dedicated OOH team. The practice is well-equipped with excellent facilities including digital X-ray, latest laboratory equipment, Sevoflurane and Humphrey ADE anaesthesia. You must be a qualified veterinary nurse and on the RCVS register. The successful applicant will need to be competent in monitoring anaesthetics, venepuncture, taking/processing radiographs, performing routine lab procedures and providing care for hospitalised patients. CPD paid days and allowance. RCVS Membership paid. VDS cover. Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
