Registered Veterinary Nurse – Aberdeenshire – HF2798

A small animal practice in Aberdeenshire is looking for a full/part time registered veterinary nurse to join their team. The role entails a combination of surgical nursing, anaesthetic monitoring, radiography, inpatient care, in house lab work, nurse clinics and consultations. This is a full or part-time, permanent position working the basis of 40 hours per week across 4 days. Plus, 1 in 5 weekends (Saturdays and Sunday morning clinics). No on call or OOH. The practice is a purpose-built, well-equipped surgery including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, k-laser, flexible endoscope, ultrasound, and in-house lab. The team consists of 5 vets, plus a soft tissue surgery certificate holder with another vet working towards their small animal medicine certificate. There is also a vet who practices acupuncture. You will be working alongside an additional 6 RVNs, a trainee RVN, 2 VCA’s, a dedicated reception team and practice manager. The ideal candidate must be RCVS registered and confident in all aspects of nursing, further certification and CPD is funded and supported. RCVS membership paid. VDS cover.
