SA Veterinary Surgeon – West Sussex – HF2228

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a welcoming team at a practice in West Sussex. This is a full-time position working a 4-day week with 4 in 9 Saturday mornings, and occasionally a Saturday afternoon. As part of a busy, experienced clinical team the work will be a combination of consulting and surgical first opinion work, plus possible day duty shifts covering emergencies that present during the day. There are no OOH requirements, however, you will be required to work 1 in 9 weeks of inpatient care covering Monday-Friday evenings only. You will be joining an excellent team that includes certificate holders in orthopaedics, surgery, medicine, cardiology, and imaging. Across this Veterinary Group, there are a total of 33 Veterinary Surgeons, a nursing team of 70, and a further 74 support staff. The practice is looking for a first opinion Vet to join this progressive team but will always consider further teammates with additional skills or those looking to develop specific areas. The ideal candidate will be a progressive and friendly team member who has already obtained a degree of general clinical experience. CPD allowance. BVA membership paid. VDS cover. Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
