Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – County Durham – HF3458

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a fantastic team at a practice in County Durham. You will be offered a varied caseload with access to surgical cases every day, as well as continuity in cases, ensuring you can see things through for your patients from start to finish. This is a full-time, permanent position working 4 days a week between the hours of 8:30am-7pm, with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings working from 8am-12pm. No OOH requirements. You will be joining a friendly team made up of 3.5 Vets (one of who is in final stages of securing a medicine certificate), 6 RVNs, and additional support staff. The ideal candidate will be an RCVS Registered Veterinary Surgeon who demonstrates previous experience in a clinical setting and has an interest or experience in orthopaedics, although this is not essential. You will also be a great team player as well as being someone with good communication skills. CPD allowance. VDS and BVA membership paid. VDS cover. Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
