Registered Veterinary Nurse Inpatient Coordinator – West Sussex – HF2226

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a small animal team at a practice in West Sussex. You will be involved with inpatient care and oversee the day to day running of the onsite hospital; organising the support staff, preparing and recovering day patients and continued care of inpatients, with the flexibility to help where required within the practice. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday, with varying shifts between 7:00am-4:00pm or 8:00am-5:00pm. There is a 1 in 6 Saturday rota, working mornings between 8:00am-12:00pm although this is flexible due to the nature of the job. OOH currently covered by an ECC supplier. You will be joining a fantastic team of 5 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Long Term Locum Vets, 6 RVNs, 3 SVNs, and 5 ANAs, plus a dedicated team of Receptionists and Admin Support. The ideal candidate will be an RVN who has the passion, drive and high standards to run an efficient day patient hospital. You will be required to have a positive, hardworking attitude that enjoys a varied caseload and can keep up with the demands that this role will bring. An interest in Nurse Clinics would be an advantage but not essential. CPD allowance. RCVS membership paid. VDS cover. Career progression opportunities available.
