Fantastic opportunity for an additional vet to join the team in Greater Manchester. You will be working alongside a friendly, supportive and experienced team of two vets, three nurses, two student nurses, two client care advisors and a practice manager. Busy first opinion practice. Carrying out oncology with staging, both routine and non-routine surgical procedures including orthopaedics and most soft tissue surgery; examples include BOAS, ear ablation, thyroidectomy, reconstructive surgery, anal gland removal, cystotomy, and urethrostomy. There is an in-house lab, digital x-ray machine and ultrasound machine. There are two vets have more than 30 years’ experience between them, applications are welcome from recent graduates and experienced vets alike, but you must have a minimum of one years’ experience ideally in both consults and some surgery. Enthusiasm and passion for what you do is essential as well as providing an excellent and comprehensive service to all clients and patients. The role involves 40 hours a week with no OOH an some Saturdays with occasional sole charge. Closed on Sunday and Bank Holidays. CPD allowance with the option to complete a certificate, generous pension scheme and holiday allowance.
