Established and friendly practice in historic market town in Berkshire are looking for a keen and ambitious vet to join them. Joining a team of 17 – 3 Receptionists, 6 Nurses, 2 VCA’s, 5 Vets and 1 Practice Manager. Extremely well equipped with state of the art equipment including digital x-ray imaging machine, laparoscopic kit and endoscopy, advanced anaesthetic monitoring machines (capnography/BP/ECG), ultrasound, laboratory in-house, a very advanced surgery theatre with diathermy machines, and orthopaedic equipment (TTA/TPLO/AO). The team sees a wide variety of cases and have a growing number of insured clients allowing cases to be thoroughly investigated and worked up to a high standard. The caseloads include advanced orthopaedic and soft tissue surgical referrals. There is a significant emphasis on work life balance at the practice and offer a full time position (40 hours per week) with a 1 in 4 weekend rota and no OOH. This includes a generous holiday package and CPD allowance with all professional fees paid as standard. Certificates are financially supported. Competitive salary dependent on experience.
