Locum Senior Veterinary Inspector Required for APHA Inverness - ASAP Start - January 2026

VetPro Recruitment are looking for a Locum Senior Veterinary Inspector to work for APHA Inverness, Scotland. The role is to commence ASAP until 9th January 2026. The role is full time, predominantly Monday– Friday, 8.30am – 5pm but there will also be some weekends and out of hours work. Extensive travel will be required throughout the North of Scotland (including inner and outer islands) to accommodate BAU and Outbreak activities. Applicants will have to have Official Controls Qualification (Veterinary) – Essential Skills on application, OCQ(V)-TT and OCQ(V)-SS are desirable but not essential. Must have some large animal experience. Applicants must either live locally or be happy to arrange own accommodation as this will not be provided or subsidised. Drivers license and own transport essential.
