Part time SA Veterinary Surgeon required – maternity cover - Leicestershire – HF3479.44046

An opportunity at a busy surgery in Leicestershire has become available for an experienced (at least 2 years), SA Veterinary Surgeon to cover maternity leave on a part time basis for 12 months starting June 2025. The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated team of 4 vets (one working towards a Certificate in Small Animal Surgery), 5 RVNs with reception support. The ideal candidate will be friendly, approachable and comfortable working occasional sole charge. They will be confident with routine surgery and medicine, although a consult only role would be considered if desired. Experience or an interest in exotics would be advantageous.
• 15 – 25 hours per week.
• 1:3 Saturday mornings.
• Occasional sole charge but no OOH.
• Paid memberships (RCVS, BVA, VDS).
• Salary dependent on experience.
