VetPro Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic Lead Night RVN to join a dedicated small animal OOH and ECC team at a practice in West Yorkshire. The shift times are 7:30pm – 8:30am, and the practice are ideally looking for someone who can commit to a full-time position which would be 3 nights during the week, plus some weekend support on a rota basis. As a Lead Night RVN you will be able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills by regularly liaising efficiently and openly with the Head Nurse, to share relevant feedback and maintain a positive working relationship. The emergency team provides OOH care to the referral inpatients, as well as first opinion emergency cases that come in overnight and stay with the team for the duration of their care. The clinical aspect of the role would be perfectly suited to an RVN who enjoys the variety of OOHs work and would thrive in a role where they can focus on nursing critical patients within a large, purpose-built intensive care unit. This is not a sole charge position, and you will work your night shifts within a team of clinicians, RVNs, and ACAs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and have experience in a leadership position. Referral experience would also be beneficial. CPD allowance. RCVS membership paid. VDS cover. Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
