Experienced Small Animal Vet Job– Fife, Scotland HF2732

An exciting opportunity has become available for a full or part time small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a first opinion practice in Fife, Scotland. Duties include general first opinion medicine and surgery case load. The rota would be 4 or 5 day a week depending on candidate with 1:5 weekends (sat only) with a day off the following week. No phones or OOH past 7pm with inpatients being held on weeknights only. Located in a beautiful seaside town with 2 branches in the local area. Experienced candidate required to join a friendly, enthusiastic, and dynamic team which consists of 5 vets, 6 RVNs, and 5 receptionists. The practice is well-equipped with high standard facilities including 2 surgical theatres, dental suite, digital and dental x-ray, endoscopy, new Imotek ultrasound machine and in-house lab. You will be confident with both routine soft tissue surgery and first opinion medical workups. You may be working in smaller groups or sole charge in leading a branch site so an advantage to be comfortable in such situations but with support available if required. Good communication skills with the team and the clients are a must to keep up with the faster pace in the current clinical setting.
