VetPro Recruitment are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly, independent practice in Bedfordshire. You will work alongside 6 full time vets (three of which are certificate holders in surgery, ECC and medicine) within the fully-equipped nurse training practice. You must be a qualified Veterinary Nurse who is happy to pass on your knowledge and train others or a recently qualified nurse will be considered. Responsibility in the nursing team is actively supported and encouraged and certificate training is funded. The role will ideally be full time over 40 hours per week (three 8am to 5pm shifts and two 10.30am to 7:30pm shifts) with one hour for lunch. The rota is shared equally between the team (currently 1 in 6, soon to be 1 in 7) with on call to support OOH Vet, one in 6 weekdays and one in 6 weekends currently two in 6 Saturday mornings (including on call weekend). Highly competitive salary depending on experience. Benefits include RCVS and VDS membership and CPD allowance 5 days off and £500 annually, paid overtime and more.
