Currently recruiting a large animal veterinary surgeon to join an ever-growing practice in Dundee. The practice is mixed but the large and the small animal veterinary surgeons are separate – large animal vets will only ever carry out large animal duties (100% LA). If successful you will be based in the purpose-built large animal practice in Dundee. Someone with a strong farming and equine experience would be well suited for this role; this position is not for someone who is looking to gain experience in this field. The practice aims for the highest standard of care. The practice provides first opinion equine and farm services and some second opinion work to near by practices. There will be an on-call rota which will be one in six. Currently every vet is on-call one night a week. If you are on-call over the weekend has the following Monday off. Working hours are 08:30-17:00 with one half day a week. No car or accommodation available, mileage is paid for in your personal vehicle. RCVS and VDS fees paid. Salary dependent on experience.
