Part Time Small Animal Vet Required for an Independently run Trust funded by a National Charity reliant on donations made specifically to the centre. Approximately 2 - 3 days a week for an initial 6 month contract. Happy to provide flexible working so would suit someone working around school hours, for example a 9.30 - 2.30pm day, for 3 days a week would be ideal. The candidate must be confident with routine surgery. Salary dependent on experience. The centre provides a facility for animals that are rescued to be rehabilitated and rehomed where possible. The biggest cost is for veterinary care, drugs and treatment. Full capacity the centre cares for 90 cats, 50 dogs and 8 rabbits. Animals can be at the centre for many weeks whilst being treated and they are considered fit and ready to be rehomed.
